Axial negative: Direction coordinate to indicate South. Golgotha
Axial positive: Directional coordinate to indicate North. Golgotha
B'Nai: A race of humanoids. They are empathic and highly aroused by emotional response. Nemesis
Becca: Largest city on a commerce planet in the UT. Due to its surface temperature it is a haven for those who wish to avoid the Peacekeepers. Restoration
Biomech hunters: Employed by Peacekeepers to capture Leviathans. They project a Biomechanoid signature to entrap the creature. Once a biomech is in range they penetrate the outer hull and release clorium, a powerful sedative, directly into the innexus system. 
Biostrand elevator: A living structure grown from orbit to the surface of Casival.

Black Star regiment: Historically regarded as heroes within the Peacekeeper regime for ending the first Scarran occupation of Hedas regardless of taking heavy casualties and in the absence of reinforcements for three weekens. Calorics fluid: Fluid that helps Moya's calorics system retain a charge that would enable starburst 
Calrimiter battery: A simple fuel cell used in Peacekeeper technology. It converts hydrogen to electricity; Water is a by product
Casival: Home world of the Vladic people.
Casival Blood Stone: Rare stone representing life; significant to the Vladic race.
Chamber Compression setting: Found on a pulse gun or pulse rifle, the reaction chamber size can be adjusted to allow different volumes of Chalkan oil to be converted to energy, thus adjusting the weapon's energy output.
Ciax Spheroid: An alien artifact discovered by the PK that is able to create wormholes. Daddy's Girl
Cils: Tiron unit of measurement to denote range of a weapon. Golgotha
Communication Crystal: These are synthetically produced crystals which have a quantum copy which allows for instantaneous communications over unlimited distances due to the quantum tunneling effect. Due to the expensive nature of the process only Fleet Carriers and Command Ships carry the array necessary to utilize them. The amount of data that can be transmitted is limited only to the processing capabilities of the sending and receiving arrays. A possible weakness in this type of communications system is that it provides a singular dedicated link to a command node, from there the information is relayed through a series of such crystals to it's destination. The loss of one or more command nodes would effectively cut communications to entire sectors. 
Control Bracelet (aka Control Device): A Chalka oil (Tannen root extract) administering medical device locked around the participant's wrist. Induces compliancy.

Dizine River: Sacred river that runs under the Delphi mountains; center-line for guerilla-Mitzan skirmishes. Golgotha
Double helix manipulation: Medical procedure done to correct the genetics of the only off-spring to John and Aeryn, L'Tan. Nemesis

Fold: Biological interface between the Castra and its crew. 
Gessit: Mitzan title of authority similar to colonel. Golgotha
Golgotha: Planet where Aeryn's prowler crashes; home to the Tiron and Mitzan; the planet's atmosphere and un-natural atmosphere keep it hidden from the rest of the Uncharteds Golgotha

Industrial Scale: The PK scale for determining cultural value. The industrial scale consists of 9 levels of evaluated worth.

Izlouth: One of the forbidden cargos for a Leviathan. It enables a biomechanoid's sensory horizon to expand beyond normal parameters. A large quantity of the substance is known to cause permanent neural damage to leviathans and their pilots. Golgotha
Jocosta: Delvian word meaning a "far horizon"; the name given the experimental prowler piloted by L'Tan. 
Kemper: The opposite side to Hammond. (Employed before it was learned just what to call the opposite side to Hammond.)
Keurig: Planet that is home to the largest crime boss and weapons dealer in the Uncharteds, Lucien Ix. Nemesis
Keurig slug beast: Large invertebrate animal, resembling a worm known to inhabit the marshes of Keurig. Golgotha
Ketz: Tiron term indicating the destructive capability of a plasma weapon Golgotha
Knossos device: A device constructed of eight independent sections that form two broken concentric circles, one within the other. Based on the technology of the Ciax species recovered from the Cythags at the end of their incursions into human space. When activated the concentric rings start to spin in opposite directions and vast energies are created within the circle defined by the sections. When sufficient charge is built up the space inside the circle appears to pulse then fold in on itself leaving only a circle of darkness inside the still moving sections. This area of darkness is an interface between the space around the Knossos Device and the targeted region of space allowing ships from both areas to travel through, but care has to be taken as during trials arriving ships materialized with in departing ships, destroying both vessels and damaging the proto-type. There is no known limit on the distance that can be traveled using the Knossos device other than the immense energy expenditure required for even the shortest of journeys. However the strategic uses of the Knossos Device are so great that once the final full-scale model was tested successfully construction has been started on a further nine, with plans to use them to create a permanent means of instantaneous travel between the sector capitals, further enhancing the control of the military over the Imperial sphere of influence. Black and White

Mitzan: A war-like race of aliens that reside on Golgotha; The are xenophobic and ego-centric. Golgotha

Mitzan color response: Physiological condition of the Mitzan. At times of emotional and physical distress, their skin releases a maroon pigment. Golgotha
Morden: 3rd class carrier and assault fortress. It lost half its mass in the violent collapse of a wormhole. 
Northway Technologies: Aerospace technology company founded by the family of IASA astronaut, Rachel Northway. Northway
Onari: Similar to blood-trackers, the Onari are often employed as body guards and bounty hunters. M-class planets are poisonous to them. Daddy's Girl
Orran: First cognitive space ship built by the Vladic.
Overseer's console: Station in command where all ships function can be monitored. 

PAC-AD85 Planetary Assault Craft: Close range fighter used in orbital, atmospheric and planet side applications.
Peacekeeper restraints: Metal cuffs that can be opened only by the appropriate Indent chip. 
Pahkma: natives of Pahk.

Plasma weapons:  Chief type of energy weapon used on Golgotha. 

Porimma: Qaran mother goddess, one of many Qaran deities

Q-Jump: It was discovered that utilizing a similar effect as used to communicated over vast distances the quanta could also be utilized as a method of FTL travel. By creating a quanta wave front then passing the ship through it, it was discovered that the ship could 'ride' the wave front until the energy dissipated to the point where the ship would once more emerge into normal space with the velocity it had when it passed through the quantum wave front initially. Black and White

Rapture: Vladic ability to render defenseless their pray by triggering (and some times reliving with) their victims an enjoyable memory from the victim's past. They also use it in "communing in truths" with other Vladics.

Ravstar Regiment: Peacekeeper regiment regarded as the elite protectorate of High Command. Most closely associated with black ops projects. 

s'Duhar: Ancient Sebacean term used by an indentured servant to address a master or benefactor. Daddy's Girl

Sano: Command carrier belonging to Scorpius. It was gutted by a wormhole formation in the proximity of its primary drive section. Daddy's Girl, Nemesis, Allies & Enemies

Sendak: 1000 treigas; 1/1000 sahmah

Spin-ward: Directional coordinate to indicate East. Golgotha

Stasis-nil: Liquid suspension stasis the Mitzan employed to prolong the life of a badly injured Aeryn Sun. Golgotha

Sub-Liege: Mitzan title of authority similar to lieutenant. Golgotha

Synth Blood: Blood substitute contained in a small metallic sphere in a medical pouch. It is crushed, releasing its contents into the powder that lines the interior of the pouch. The two powders catalyze and create Synth blood.

Talis: a short, wrapped ponytail, worn by both male and female officers on board a command carrier, as a sign of respect to their Captain or regimental leader. Restoration

Tavik: Scarran title of scientific authority. Northway, Nemesis

The Toll: Thirteen volumes of the written history of the Vladic race covering X Cycles.

Thingy: Multipurpose term employed by website's clueless editor. <G>
Tiron: Peaceful race forced to take up weapons against the Mitzan; the Tiron are humanoid and prefer to life in harmony with nature. Golgotha

Trelgin: Alien race known to the Uncharteds. Bi-pedal humanoids with four upper-limbs. Daddy's Girl, Nemesis

Treiga: smallest unit of measure; 1/1000 sendak

Viron: Biological weapon project targeted at wiping out the Tiron race by the Mitzan. Golgotha

Vladic: Vladic are a race of live feeders. They can induce the rapture, a mental state during which their prey relive positive memories from their past. The Hynerian Empire annexed the Vladic home world, Casival. Peacekeepers were employed to rid their race from the planet. 

Xiocine: Honorable means of suicide distributed to high ranking Peacekeepers. It's a potent poison that shuts down the respiratory system in Sebaceans. Daddy's Girl, Nemesis
