Barren
Lands: Aeryn went rock
climbing with Dregon Casanova to avoid attending John’s
wedding to Princess Katralla. Look at the Princess, Parts
2 and 3 |

|
Berger
Nebula (Mention Only): One
of the places Jool and her cousins went during their
multicultural tour. |
|

|
Budong: See Allies and Enemies |
|

|
Canaveral: The space center in Florida. The Space Shuttle
lifted off from here to take John into earth orbit in
order to test the Farscape One and his theory of slingshot
maneuvers. Premier |
|

|
Caton
Mines (Mention Only):
D'Argo’s son Jothee was a prisoner in the Caton Mines and was sold
from here along with 10,000 other slaves. Before D'Argo could get to
the auction, the slaves were purchased from the slaver (see photo at left) by Scorpius who then offered
to trade Jothee for Crichton. |
|
|
Cavari
(Mention only): Noranti thought she had seen treasure-chest markings on Cavari, but then decided
she hadn’t. Lava’s a Many Splendored Thing |
|

|
Cemetery
Planet: A very gloomy place,
covered in graves. Beneath the surface lives a colony of young
people who take the stone – a euphemism for suicide – rather
than grow old. What they mean by old, however, is anything over 22
cycles. When Chiana believed her brother was dead, she took off in
Aeryn’s Prowler and landed on the Cemetery Planet to work out her
grief. Taking the Stone |
|

|
Center
Halo: Scattered throughout
the universe, center halos are mists where all dimensions meet and
time ceases to exist. Eventually the mist hardens, trapping those
stuck in it forever without time. See Stellar Mist. The Locket |
|

|
Commerce
Planets: Any of a series of
places for the crew to replenish supplies, refurbish their
wardrobes, and get into trouble. Pretty much the shopping malls of
the Uncharted Territories |
|

|
Consortium
of Trao (Mention Only): When
Rygel was kidnapped by the Tavleks, his
next-cell neighbor, Jotheb, (see
photo at left) was next in line to rule the Consortium of Trao. Bekhesh
killed Rygel and Jotheb resurrected him, thinking to absorb Rygel
and his 600 billion Hynerian subjects into the Consortium of Trao.
Oops…Rygel travels alone these days and Jotheb decided he was too
disruptive. Throne for a Loss |
|

|
Dam-Ba-Da: The desert planet where Furlow’s repair shop
was located. John and Aeryn brought Farscape 1 here to be patched up
after it developed a plasma leak during a slingshot maneuver. It’s
also the planet where John received the lethal dose of radiation
that caused his death. Til the Blood Runs Clear; Infinite
Possibilities, Parts One and Two |
|

|
Dead
Leviathan / Commerce Planet: A dead Leviathan was fused to an
asteroid and is used as a commerce planet. The women of Moya went
there to purchase an energy distorter to make Moya invisible to long
range scans. They ran into Grayza and War Minister Ahkna having a
secret meeting. Bringing Home the Beacon |
|

|
Delvia (Mention Only): Zhaan’s home planet. Her
former lover, Bitaal, was one of the Delvian leaders and spiritual
counselors. When his term of service was up he brought in the
Peacekeepers for “security”. Zhaan, chief anarchist that she
was, murdered him and was put into prison along with all the other
liberals, including her father. DNA
Mad Scientist; Rhapsody in Blue |
|

|
Denea: A planet very much like earth. Moya set down in
a swamp (See Kazda's Swamp below) here to dampen the sound of a Peacekeeper Paddoc beacon. The
Deneans had never had a close encounter with an extra-terrestrial
(extra-denestrial?) until John and D'Argo came along. The natives’
reactions were typical: the military wanted to dissect them; the
yokels wanted to hunt them down; the child was in awe; and Lyneea,
the scientist, wanted to learn all she could. I, ET |
|

|
Devastator
Reefs: After Dregon
Casanova disgraced himself on the climbing wall causing Aeryn to
break her leg in a fall, he told her that
they were near the Devastator Reefs so she couldn’t expect
any ships to come along and rescue them. Look at the Princess,

Dimordis
Tomb (Mention Only):
Jool’s cousin (see photo at left) said they were on an expedition to find the Dimordis
Tomb in the Berger Nebula when they got sick.

Earth,
False #1: The
Ancients, looking for a new home, created a false earth from
Crichton’s memories. John believed he was finally going back to
earth but it was all a scheme by the Ancients to see if humans would
welcome them to share their planet. A Human Reaction |
|

|
Earth,
False #2: Once
again John returned to an earth that wasn’t real, only this time
he knew it wasn’t real. This time it was the Scarrans who were
messing with his mind, trying to find out why Scorpy was so keen on
getting hold of Crichton. John was a lot more skeptical this time,
never really believing he was back home. Won’t Get Fooled Again |
|

|
Earth: Home of John Crichton. A tiny blue planet,
totally unimpressive, with one dead moon and no rings at all. It’s
the third planet of nine orbiting a yellow star that the earthlings
call the sun. It’s inhabitants are nearly planet-bound, rarely
venturing farther than their own moon. As a force in the universe,
it's mostly harmless. |
|

|
Elepuria (Mention Only): The place where Raxil (see photo at left) had a
disaster in relation to the Freslin trade. Fe’Tor said he thought
she’d given up the Freslin trade after this disaster. Scratch

Expanse
Between, The: When
Moya tried to StarBurst to prove she was still valuable to the crew,
she got stuck in the expanse between dimensions. She tried to back
out, but the being who existed there told John that she must go
forward in order to avoid destruction. With the guidance of this
being, Moya was able to get back to her own dimension in space. Through
the Looking Glass |

|
Favored Planet: The place where John
and Aeryn spent 55 cycles between openings in the stellar mist. The
main activity of the natives is gardening. The Locket |
|

|
Five
Pulsars: A pulsar is a
rapidly spinning star with a superdense mass that has collapsed
under gravity in the final stage of its evolution and consists
almost entirely of neutrons. It periodically beams flashes of radio
(and sometimes optical) energy. Moya passed the five pulsars on the
way to the transformation yards. T’raltixx claimed the light from
these pulsars would cause problems for lesser species but not for
any of the more developed life forms. At first it seemed to be the
pulsars that were making everyone paranoid but it turned out to be
T’raltixx himself. Crackers Don’t Matter |
|

|
Gammak
Base: Larraq was on his
way to a Gammak base to drop off the intellent virus he’d captured
when his ship began leaking cesium fuel and he boarded Moya instead.
In trying to escape he stabbed Aeryn, injuring her paraphoral nerve.
John went to the Gammak base to secure a tissue graft for her but
was captured by the Peacekeepers before he could get away. Scorpius,
thinking John had the wormhole secrets he needed, attempted to
extract the information using his Aurora Chair. John and D'Argo
later blew up the Gammak base. After Scorpy removed the chip from
John’s brain he took it to a new Gammak base to learn its secrets. |
|

|
Hallowed
Realm (Mention Only): The
place Hynerians go to after they die. When Rygel thought John was
dead he performed a very touching Rite of Passage (see photo at left) to see him on his
way to the Hallowed Realm. That Old Black Magic |
|
|
High
Command: Seat of Peacekeeper
military power |
|

|
Hyneria (Mention Only): Rygel’s home planet where his
cousin, Bishan, overthrew the government, had Rygel imprisoned by
the Peacekeepers and took over as Dominar. |
|

|
Interdimensional
Space: The alien known to John as Einstein dragged him through to this intergalactic frozen
space to examine his knowledge of wormholes. Einstein could only maintain the place for a short
while before it decomposed, disappeared, went kaput. Unrealized Reality |
|

|
Ice
Planet: Diagnosan Tocot’s
medical facility is located here. A good thing too because of all
the bodies he keeps in cryogenic suspension. John-as-Scorpy shot
down Aeryn’s prowler over an ice-covered lake on the Ice Planet,
she was unable to get out of her ejection chair and drowned. Die

Jensii
Province
(Mention Only): The home province of Orrhn Pak, the Hynerian female
who betrayed Rygel. Fractures |

Jocation
Memorial: A
peace memorial commemorating 30 peacekeepers who died defending a
monastery. One of the tourist attractions is a tear in time through
which visitors can see the actual battle and the events following
it. ..Different Destinations |

Kanvia: A planet with dense nelvastatic atmosphere.
Moya and Talyn immersed themselves in this atmosphere hoping it
would hide them from the Peacekeepers Retrieval Squad that was
hunting Talyn. Kanvia is a source for chromextin, a stimulant that
would help heal Talyn’s wounds. Thanks for Sharing |

Kazda’s
Swamp: The boggy area on
Denea where Moya submerged herself to block the noise of the Paddoc
Beacon from attracting Peacekeepers. Lyneea sent Commander Ryymax,
the military leader in charge of finding the aliens, off in the
opposite direction in order to allow D'Argo and John to return
safely to Moya. I,

|
Litigara: A planet where 90% of the population are
lawyers. They have ruling law firms instead of political parties,
royal families or monarchs. Since all these lawyers need something
to keep them busy, the law of the land grew so complicated that it
filled several huge books. When Zhaan was accused of murdering one
of the few non-lawyers on the planet, Rygel and Chiana acted as her
attorneys because the local public defender insisted that she plead
guilty. Although they knew Zhaan was not guilty, Rygel and Chiana
could only prove it by falling back on their strong points, deceit
and trickery. Re:Union (Dream a Little Dream) |

Mintaka
Three (Mention Only): The
liberation of Mintaka Three was one of Durka’s legendary
achievements that was studied by Peacekeepers-in-training. While he
was a reformed, mind-cleansed automaton (thanks to the Nebari) he
claimed that this was a “meaningless, brute force solution”. |
|

|
Nebari
Prime (Mention Only):
Chiana’s home planet. She and her brother Nerri were given
government permits to leave when they were really young. They
didn’t know why it was so easy to get away until two cycles later.
The government, as part of their plan to take over the galaxy, had
infected them with a disease that was spread through carnal contact
and sent them on their way. A high-ranking government official later
gave them the antidote. The Nebari are desperate to get their hands
on Nerri so they can mind-frell him into identifying this official |

Shadow
Depository: A
very large, well protected vault where the less-than-honest hide the
fruits of their labor. The one Moya’s crew came across was
administered by Natira, a freaky blue alien who had a “thing”
for eyes. According to Aeryn, some Shadow Depositories are more well
armed than Gammak bases. Moya’s crew
robbed one of these banks and even got away with the loot.
Unfortunately, the loot turned out to be Natira’s little joke on
Scorpius. The crate wasn’t full of
borinium ingots as they thought but of Karak Metalites, ship
devouring critters who began snacking on Moya the first chance they
got. Liars, Guns and Money, Parts 1, 2, and 3; Die Me Dichotomy |

Sykar: When D'Argo took off for Sykar in a fit of
hyper-rage, the others waited three days and then went to retrieve
him. The found a spaced out D'Argo who had turned into a farmer.
Sykar had once been a garden planet, but every cycle more of it
turned into wasteland because all the natives grew was tannot root

Peacekeepers were using the tannot root for weapons, they decided to
rebel. Thank God It’s

Uncharted
Territories:
Right after they escaped from Peacekeeper custody, Moya and crew
absconded to the Uncharted Territories. The Peacekeepers don’t
have jurisdiction here but that didn’t stop Captain Crais from
going in after them. Although the area is known as the Uncharted
Territories, it’s definitely not the Unpopulated Territories.
There are several commerce planets throughout the area and the
Peacekeepers maintain at least one Gammak base here. A variety of
species have home worlds in this region of space and there are even
some break-away Sebacean colonies such as the Royal Planet. |
