Challenger: The space shuttle that tragically exploded shortly after lift-off in 1986. In an unrealized reality, where John came back to earth years before he flew in Farscape 1, Jack Crichton was scheduled to fly on this Challenger mission. Kansas

Collaroy: The IASA Space Shuttle that lifted Farscape into earth orbit on it’s ill fated test flight.  Premier

Dreadnaught: A Scarran ship. It’s about twice the size of a Peacekeeper Command Carrier. Infinite Possibilities, Part One: Daedalus Demands; Infinite Possibilities, Part Two, Icarus Abides

Farscape 1: John Crichton’s module. He and DK built it to test their slingshot theory of space flight. But instead of proving the theory, it created a wormhole that sucked him into another part of the universe. Over the next few cycles John added many modifications to Farscape 1, including hetch drive capability and biomechanoid technology. The little ship is one of the few mementos John has left of earth.

Glendian Pleasure Vessel (Mention Only): When Aeryn warns Rygel to leave their visitors alone, he replies, “Visitors? Has Moya has turned into a Glendian Pleasure Vessel now?” Durka Returns

Halos One: The Halosian ship whose weapon caused Moya’s crew to exchange bodies. Three times. When it fired on Talyn, he retaliated and nearly destroyed it so the Halosians were looking for revenge when they found Moya. Out of Their Minds

Hokothian Ship: The ship was actually quite small, but was capable of projecting a hologram which deceived Moya's and her crew into thinking it was a huge ship. It also projected a Leviathan image which fooled Braca into thinking it was Moya. Because of this, he destroyed the Hokothian ship rather than Moya who went into Starburst.

Ilonic Research Ship: Verell and Matala barely escaped from this ship before their research – studies on developing a black hole into a weapon – destroyed it. Moya just happened to be gliding by and she picked up the researchers. Back and Back and Back to the Future

Ilonic Transport Pod: After John and D'Argo dragged Verell and Matala to safety, John went back to look for other survivors. While he was inside, he was touched by the quantum singularity that Verell was trying to develop into a weapon. He soon began jumping back and forth in time. Back and Back and Back to the Future

Jakench Cargo Runner: Empress Novia chose to hide John aboard this automated ship to protect him after an attempt on his life. A ship full of wedding gifts from the Jakench was orbiting the Royal Planet and seemed a safe place to stash him. Unfortunately, the Empress’s “loyal” servant, ro-NA, betrayed John to Scorpius and Braca was waiting when they arrived. The ship was destroyed by self-tracking pulse cannons just moments after John jumped out into space without a spacesuit. Look at the Princess, Part 2

Kcrackic’s Pirate Ship: It came swooping in, looking like a bird in flight, and landed on Moya. As soon as  Kcrackic got the information he came for (false info, as it turned out), he took off again. The Flax

KL-80 and KL-81 (Mention Only): Two of the first ships that Aeryn learned to fly during her early Peacekeeper training. A Bug’s Life

Kyvan’s Junk Shop: Maldis, in disguise as Kyvan, lured Chiana and Rygel with something he knew they couldn’t resist: shopping. He filled the shop with many trinkets knowing that they’d find something they absolutely had to have. This turned out to be a picture of Chiana that Maldis used to predict disastrous events for each of the crew. Picture if You Will

Leviathan: A huge biomechanoid. Peacekeepers capture these living ships, sedate them and install control collars while they’re sedated. They use them for transport duty, especially for transporting prisoners. Most of the ships’ functions are controlled by a pilot, symbiotic being who is permanently bonded to the Leviathan. See Biomechanoid category for more information.

Lo'La (D'Argo's Ship): D'Argo’s ancient ship, named in memory of his wife, Lo’Laan. He found it adrift when the Commerce Station was attacked by the Kampeks’ storm. Once he learned to controw it, he found it has more bells and whistles than the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Suns and Lovers; Revenging Angel; Dog with Two Bones; What Was Lost, Part 1: Sacrifice and forward

Luxan Assault Piercer:  D'Argo dreamed of serving on an Assault Piercer when he was a boy. While one of these ships was trapped in the flax, D'Argo and Staanz planned to board it looking for map fibers but they detected the atmosphere escaping from the transport pod and went to rescue John and Aeryn instead. Since the Luxan ship was about to be melted for scrap, D'Argo gave up his chance at getting the directions to his home in order to save the lives of his shipmates. The Flax

Luxan Deep Space Voyager: (Mention Only)Staanz stole the boots he was wearing from a body he found while he was looting a Deep-Space Voyager. The Flax

Marauder: A Peacekeeper ship with a five man crew of commandos and a top speed of hetch seven. Marauders have scanning ability and are often used for scouting or searching missions as well as transport duty. Crews are able to look through the bottoms of the ships and can jump out and be on the move before it even comes to a halt. Moya’s been invaded twice by Marauder crews. The first time she was playing hostess for a Drak birthing event. A Marauder full of commandos boarded while she had the doors open trying to cool down her interior. The second time, Larraq’s Marauder developed a cesium fuel leak and he boarded Moya looking for a ride to the Gammak base. Gilina’s Marauder transport was incinerated by the Sheyangs, marooning her on the Zelbinion for Moya’s crew to find. Exodus from Genesis; PK Tech Girl; A Bug’s Life

Moya: Moya is a Leviathan, a living ship who is home for our favorite group of escaped prisoners and refugees. For such a huge being, Moya spends a lot of her time being scared and transmits her fear through Pilot, a symbiotic being who is bonded for life to the ship. For more information, see the Biomechanoid category.

Nebari Standard Host Vessel (Mention Only): This is probably the most kick-ass alien ship we’ve heard about so far. Without weapons, it was able to defeat a Peacekeeper Command Carrier. And not just any old Command Carrier either,  but the legendary Zelbinion. Durka Returns

Nebari Transport Ship: Moya came out of a wild StarBurst and crashed into Durka and Salis’s ship, crippling it. Pilot brought the ship into Moya where Salis and Durka could wait for the Nebari Host Vessel to pick them up. Durka, trying to escape from the Nebari, commanded Moya to StarBurst but she couldn’t due to her pregnancy. Durka hopped into the Nebari transport so he could shoot the baby out of Moya, solving the StarBurst problem. Crichton stopped him with the bowling ball from hell. Durka Returns

New Moon of Delvia: The ship landed on the Delvians new home, heated the rock until it became molten, then sank below ground level to become their temple. Aeryn saw this as a strategic move to hide them from their enemies while Tahleen claimed it was to give the Delvians solitude for piety. Rhapsody in Blue

Pantak Class Vigilante (Mention Only): A ship used by the Peacekeeper Retreival Squad pursuing Talyn. They attacked with an immobilizer pulse and very nearly accomplished their goal of retrieving him for the Peacekeepers. The Squad was led by Xhalax Sun, Aeryn’s mother. Thanks for Sharing

Peacekeeper Command Carriers. The main ships of the Peacekeeper armada, they carry soldiers, weapons, attack vessels and the commanders of the forces. Their main weapons are frag cannons. According to Rockne O’Bannon, their design is based on an early 20th Century Russian industrial look.

Placavian Ships: We only got to see the first one of these ships briefly before Talyn blew it up with his main cannon. (Gruesome as it sounds, I particularly enjoyed watching the Placavian arms dealer spatter against Talyn’s view screen.) The second Placavian ship snared Moya’s transport pod with some snaky-looking cables, disabled the crew with a dampening net, and dragged the pod into the ship. The Ugly Truth

Prowler: A small, quick and agile Peacekeeper attack ship. When Crichton first tumbled out of the wormhole, Tauvo Crais’s prowler ran into him. Aeryn had been a prowler pilot when she was a Peacekeeper and her ship was caught in StarBurst during Moya’s initial escape from captivity. John, while being controlled by the Scorpius chip in his head, attacked Aeryn in her prowler, killing her and causing her prowler to crash and explode.

Rados'splana: Neeyala’s wormhole research ship. This corkscrew-looking vessel came whipping out of a wormhole and pierced completely through Moya. According to Neeyala, the impact took place during phase resolution. Self-Inflicted Wounds, Parts 1 and 2

Rovhu: A Leviathan prison ship assigned to transfer only one prisoner, the criminally insane Kaarvok. Rovhu still had his control collar on when Moya’s transport pod set down in his landing bay. They found that Rovhu was slowly being eaten by his former crew members, who were near starvation. Both Rovhu and his pilot were victims of Kaarvok. The pilot was especially pathetic. Because of his ability to re-grow his arms he became a renewable food supply. Eat Me

Scorvian Vessel: It came disguised as an Ilanic cruiser to pick up Matala, who had stolen the black hole weapon from Verell. To avoid blowing their cover, the Scorvians (who are supposed to look very unlike Ilanics) claimed that their viewscreen was not operational. Matala escaped from Moya, Moya StarBurst away, and the black hole weapon immediately destroyed both Matala and the Scorvian ship. Back and Back and Back to the Future

Scrub Runner (Mention Only):The first ship that Aeryn piloted during her Peacekeeper training. She was 14 cycles old at the time. We found out about it during Aeryn’s conversation with Larraq. A Bug’s Life

Stealth Capsule (Mention Only):The Scarrans use one-man stealth capsules for advance scouting patrols. Infinite Possibilities, Part One: Daedalus Demands; Infinite Possibilities, Part Two, Icarus Abides

Staanz's Ship: This lovely vessel is used primarily for collecting "what others throw away," but definitely not garbage. Its main form of propulsion seems to be banging on the boiler door assisted by pleading and begging from the pilot. The Flax

Talyn: Moya’s son. He’s a hybrid of Leviathan and Peacekeeper technology. Crais, whose experiment was responsible for Talyn’s conception, is bonded with Talyn by means of a neurotransponder.  For more information on Talyn, see the Biomechanoid category.

Transport Pod: Moya (and other Leviathans) have several of these ships available for short distance travel. They are capable carrying several people and are easily able to land on and take off from planets. Their technology is biomechanoid but they aren’t sentient beings like Moya

Zelbinion: A renowned Peacekeeper Command Carrier. It was lost in the Uncharted Territories over 100 cycles ago after an encounter with a Nebari Host Vessel. It was floating dead in space when Moya found it. After Rygel was first captured by the Peacekeepers he was imprisoned on the Zelbinion and tortured by it’s captain, Selto Durka
